Mobile Clinic Vaccination Checklist
Planning your first visit to a 1st Care Vets mobile clinic? Use this checklist to prepare so check-in goes smoothly. Our Southern California teams offer walk-in vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and prescription parasite products at pet supply stores and community sites. No appointment is required when you arrive within the posted clinic hours.

Before you leave home
- Confirm the date, time, and store location on our Locate a Clinic page.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before the posted end time so your pet can be checked in.
- Bring each dog on a leash and each cat in a secure carrier.
- Pack prior vaccine records if you have them, plus cash or card for payment.
- Write down questions about boosters, flea control, or heartworm prevention for the veterinarian.
At the mobile clinic
- Check in with the team and share your pet's age, health history, and any recent illnesses.
- Ask which vaccines or tests are due now based on AAHA or AAFP guidelines for dogs and cats.
- Request microchipping, deworming, or prescription flea and heartworm products if needed.
- Keep nervous pets close to you while waiting. Our staff is used to first-time visitors.
- Pick up any paperwork before you leave so you know when the next visit is due.
After your visit
Watch for mild soreness at the injection site or brief tiredness for a day. Contact your regular veterinarian if you see swelling, repeated vomiting, or trouble breathing. Store your vaccine certificate in a safe place and note the return date on your calendar. Ready for visit-day policies and payment details? Read Visiting a Clinic.
